Ellie's Glasses

We discovered at Ellie's two year check up that her left eye crossed slightly. At the recommendation of her pediatrician, we took Ellie to a pediatric eye doctor. He noticed the crossed eye, even with a very squirmy toddler. After further examination, he said that Ellie's eyes were slightly far sighted, but that he recommended glasses for her to help her learn to not cross her eye. We picked up the glasses last night and Ellie loved them. She refused to take them off and when she did, she allowed me to put them right back on her without complaining at all. She even refused to let me take them off of her at bed time. It took a while, but I was finally able to get them off of her. I always thought our biggest issue would be getting her to keep them on! Hopefully, she continues to cooperate with them and we can resolve the issue with her eyes and she won't need them for very long.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Grammie, Grandpa, Uncle Jake and even Uncle Marcus came to visit. Ellie had a wonderful time visiting with everyone, especially Uncle Marcus. They had so much fun together and it was great watching them. The boys spent the weekend watching football, while the girls finished getting Max's room together. Only a few more things and that room will be complete. Good thing too, since Max will be here within the next few weeks!!

Daddy and Ellie

Halloween

Ellie was Jo Jo from Disney's Jo Jo's Circus for Halloween. She was so cute in her costume and got complimented every where we went. She had a Halloween party at daycare, at Mommy's office and of course went trick or treating. She loved her costume and we had a hard time getting her to take it off. She had lots of fun just being outside. We went to a couple of house down the street, but mostly we sat on the porch with Daddy and handed out candy and scared all the little kids. It was fun!
