Are you lying?

Ellie had a stinky diaper the other day and I asked her about it.

Me: Ellie, do you have a stinky diaper?

Ellie: No. It's bad gas.

Me: Ellie, are you lying to me?

Ellie: ROAR!! I'm a lion.

I couldn't help but laugh. She thought I asked her if she was a lion. Now, everytime I ask her about her diaper, she roars at me.

Proud Big Sister

Ellie loves being a big sister to Max. She is always wanting to kiss him and hold him and tuck him in. Yesterday, she begged me to let him sit next to her on the bed so she could read to him. It was so cute. She pointed out all the animals to him and even how they sounded.

The Bells

One of Ellie's favorite parts of Little Gym is the opening song with the bells. You can't really hear them singing in the video, but you can certainly see how happy she is and how much fun she is having.

The Little Gym

I finally got around to taking some pictures of Ellie at the Little Gym. We go every Tuesday night and she loves it. She calls it the "Jump Store". They sing songs and learn how to do different tumbling activities. Ellie isn't always sure about what she's doing, but she has fun anyway. She loves to walk on the balance beam and swing from the uneven bars. She loves rolling on the ground, but is really nervous about actually tumbling forward. Every week she makes a lot of progress though. It is her favorite day of the week. Even Max has a lot of fun going to the "Jump Store".

Laughing Boy

It's official. My little boy is laughing. I was holding him the yesterday and giving him little kisses on his neck. And then I heard it. The sweetest little giggle. I looked at him and he had the biggest grin on his face. It was so sweet. First a smile, then a laugh. The next thing I know, he will be rolling over and crawling. Time goes by so quickly these days.
