Beach Boys Concert

One of our favorite things to do in Virginia Beach is taking advantage of the beach. There is always some type of festival or event going on at the Oceanfront. One afternoon, while eating lunch, we heard about a free concert at the beach. It was The Beach Boys! The kids had so much fun. Ellie was really excited to hear them play. She said, "I know who The Beach Boys are. They are on Full House!" We had so much fun dancing and singing along.

Field Trip to the Virginia Living Museum

Ellie had her first real school field trip this Spring. She was so excited to get to ride the bus with her friends all the way to the Virginia Living Museum. Of course, Max and I chaperoned and met her class at the museum.

We saw lots of fun animals outside at the Living Museum.

Watching an otter swim was really funny. He kept showing off in front of all the kids!

Ellie and some friends from school.

They really enjoyed getting to see some of the crabs up real close.

Sometimes, it was a little too close for Ellie!

A day at Busch Gardens

Since we have season passes, we go to Busch Gardens alot, but we never get tired of going. Somehow, we experience new things every time we go.

After many trips to Busch Gardens we finally rode the cable buckets across the park. It was a relaxing ride and an amazing view.

Daddy helped Max and Ellie pan for gems.

They were very excited to bring home their bags fancy stones!
