Ellie completed her first year of preschool today and I am so proud of her. She has learned so much this year. Not only has she learned about her letters, shapes, colors, counting, the seasons, holidays, and sounding out words and writing them, but she is learning a lot about being Jewish. She surprises me every day with the things she says and does. She says the Hebrew blessing over her meal every time she eats. She knows all about Shabbat and is learning more and more about G-d. I am so impressed with my little girl! She has one more year of pre school left and then it will be off to Kindergarten with her. She misses the cut off to start Kindergarten next year by just a few weeks. That is fine though. I'd rather her be the oldest in the class instead of the youngest. Next year, she will be going to school for 5 days a week. Hopefully, Max will also go 2 days a week. We are still working on that.
Today was a celebration at school. The kids sang songs for the parents and had a great time. Ellie has been practicing a lot for her performance both at school and at home. My little star!
