The neighborhood elementary school held their annual Spring Fling carnival on Saturday. Ellie's friend Nathan held his 2nd birthday party there. All the kids were given tickets to go and play. Ellie had a great time. The first thing we did was the cake walk. Wouldn't you know? Ellie and CJ won! Everyone clapped, including Ellie and then we got to pick out which cake we would take home. Ellie and Daddy picked out a plate of chocolate chip m&m cookies and shared them with all of Ellie's friends. Ellie had a good time running around the playground. She kept waving to everybody that she saw. We used our tickets on the cake walk a few more times (she loved going around in the circle). We were going to do face painting, but Ellie didn't want to let anyone near her face, so we ended up giving most of her tickets away. Just as well because after a couple of hours of running around, the poor girl was pooped! She fell asleep the minute we put her into her car seat.
