The Zoo

We went to the zoo today. It was a perfect day to go. The weather was nice and it wasn't too crowded. Ellie had a blast!! She really liked the monkeys and the bears. Unfortunately, they were really all we could see good because so many of the animals weren't be very cooperative. Either way, Ellie had a great time. She walked much of the way. The length of the zoo is about 5 miles, but she didn't seem to care. She was laughing and playful all day. There was a playground in the middle of the zoo and she had fun in there. She went down the slide several times. We also went on the carousel while we there. She did NOT like that! She cried the whole time and clung to CJ for dear life! Poor kid. I was so convinced she'd love it. All in all, we had a fun day. It was a great way to wrap up my birthday weekend.
